After earning a degree in Chemistry from East Carolina University, I followed a personal passion into real estate—ultimately becoming the owner of Coastal Realty Associates, where I’ve had the privilege of helping clients navigate one of life’s most important decisions: buying or selling a home.
I’m not just a real estate professional—I’m a devoted husband, proud father to an adventurous son, and dog dad to two coastal-loving pups. My family and I fully embrace the laid-back, connected lifestyle of coastal North Carolina. From enjoying local festivals to fishing, boating, or walking the beaches with our dogs, we’re active in the community and love everything this area has to offer.

Raised in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia on a Beef Cattle Farm, I developed a strong work ethic at an early age. This experience has motivated me in every aspect of my life! Calling Coastal North Carolina home for 40+ years, I spent 15 ½ years in Residential Home Construction, having been involved in every aspect of building. Throughout those years, I worked closely with real estate agents and new home buyers, coordinating each facet, thus bringing home ownership a reality for families. This experience was invaluable in helping me relate to buyers. I bring this knowledge and experience to Coastal Realty Associates. Originally from Long Island, I am one of the many New York transplants who found a home on the beautiful North Carolina coast! With a professional background as an Activities Director in an Assisted Living home, when I first moved to Wilmington in 2012, I found a job with a Senior Home Health Care Agency, where I was in charge of coordinating care for seniors in their homes. I had clients based in New Hanover, Pender, Brunswick, and Onslow Counties, and because of this job, I was able to learn a lot about these areas and the communities.
After living in Wilmington for a few years, I moved up to Hampstead, where I have a quiet oasis in the woods, yet I am only a 15 minute drive to the beach. My husband and I have two rescued hound dogs, Larry and Marvin, and ten tortoises, a mix of four different species. Almost all of our tortoises are rescues as well, and our largest one is over 100 lbs!
On my free time I enjoy traveling, hunting the beach for shark teeth, seeing live music, running, hiking, and playing pinball. The greater Wilmington area has so much to offer between the pristine beaches, local restaurants and breweries, and live music venues, and Broadway quality shows, there is a little something for everyone to enjoy.
My love for the area has translated into my love of selling real estate. With designations as an Accredited Buyers Representative and Military Relocation Professional through the National Association of Realtors, I am well equipped to help with your real estate needs. I very much enjoy helping all buyers find a home in a community and area that is going to work best for their own wants and needs, and helping all of my sellers highlight their properties and all the home and surrounding area has to offer as they get ready to embark on their next adventure.
